Students demonstrate caring by: 1) Being kind, compassionate, and empathetic to everyone (even those who don’t seem to deserve it). 2) Expressing support and sympathy at appropriate times in appropriate ways. 3) Being charitable in judging others by assuming good. intentions and by being forgiving and merciful. 4) Being charitable to causes and individuals. They are not: 1) Cruel. 2) Indifferent or apathetic. 3) Callous. 4) Unforgiving.
